Metro is the ultimate
in simplicity and subtlety of design. It is a 1 metre
wide, frameless fire that, thanks to the patented DRU
Vario Burner System®,
produces high, realistic flames across its entire width
in a striking 3 dimensional effect.
You can select the individual style of your
fire from natural twigs or white Carrara pebbles. The
interior is available in black polished steel or rustic
brick, so there is plenty of choice.
The Metro is a pleasure to operate. You have
a fully programmable thermostatic remote control that
allows you to adjust the room temperature and the flame
picture from the comfort of your armchair. The fire also
has the advantage of energy saving electronic ignition.
Access to the interior of the Metro
comes courtesy of the DRU ‘1-2-3’ Easy
Release System®, so you can clean and maintain
the fire with ease. And with its slimline depth of
just 39 cms, the Metro fits all standard false chimneybreasts.
Lux ventilation
and lighting kit
Metro owners can also take advantage
of the optional DRU ‘LUX’ ventilation and
lighting kit. This provides convenient ventilation
points on either side of the chimneybreast and can
be enhanced by subtle lighting, extending the warm
glow of the fire right up to the ceiling and creating
a seductive atmosphere in your living room.
