Cast iron has always been the preferred material
of the skilled stove maker because it is extremely
hard wearing and durable. Cast iron has a thermal
mass and excellent heat radiating characteristics
and therefore stores heat naturally through its air
inclusions. It stores and distributes heat more evenly
and for a considerably longer period than any other
materials used in stove manufacture. All parts can
be replaced.
