Country Franklin Stoves

The Country Franklin was designed about 200 years ago by the famous Benjamin Franklin and is as up-to-date now as it was in the 18th century.

It is now available in three sizes, all of which have 4 glass doors. The flue outlet can be either from the top or the rear.

All are made from good quality cast iron and come complete with wood/coal burning grate and ash pan. On the top are two decorative brass balls, evidently originally put there so that Mr Franklin could warm his gloves on them!

The classical appearance of the Franklin is ideal for both traditional and modern homes and is particularly suited for easy installation in large Inglenooks.

The versatile stoves can be used with doors either open or shut and should burn overnight when banked up with solid fuel or hardwood. The doors will fold back out of sight, if required.

There is also a DIN version.
