Town & Country Multi-Fuel
Stoves - Wood and Solid Fuel
Town
and Country multi-fuel stoves have
a clean burn system and optional boilers. Manufactured
in Pickering, using only top quality British materials,
and with British castings for the doors to bring
out the detail.
The
designs are simple, combustion and fuel efficiency
are excellent. The flat top makes an ideal spot for
a kettle or casserole, but canopies can be added later,
they have been designed to slide onto the hotplate,
and come with a cut out at the top to accommodate a
top flue, or a grill to cover the top for a rear flue
installation.
Any
of the stoves can be placed on a plinth, if required,
and this makes a handy storage space for a few
logs or some kindling.
There
are optional boilers available with some of the stoves,
ranging from a domestic hot water boiler to a wrap
round 40,000 btu boiler to run a central heating system
and hot water.
The
multi-fuel grates will burn wood or solid fuel without
any alteration to the stove or grate. If using logs,
they need to be dry and well seasoned.
- compact stoves with deceptively
roomy fireboxes, 5 and 6kW stoves, suitable for a small
to medium room.
-

for the lower fire opening. There is a turbo burner to
improve efficiency and combustion.
-
up to 8kW, good sized glass door, optional boilers and
canopies.
-
a larger stove with 10kW output, can have 10,000, 25,000
or 40,000btu boilers if required.
-
a very different stove with curved top, generous 8kW
output, guaranteed to make an impression.
-
an inset stove which will fit into a standard 16" fire
opening, no need to alter the fire back. An easy way
to turn an open fire into an efficient stove.
- a new stove, clean burning with
a large curved glass, 6 - 8kW. Excellent view of the
fire.
Town and Country have
a good range of gas fires and gas stoves, some suitable
for a conventional chimney (class 1), and others that
only require a gas flue or pre-cast flue (class 2).

There is a good range of Class 2 natural
gas fires, including which is only 100mm deep and will
fit into most starter blocks, but looks deceptively deep
and is extremely hot - with 3.75kW output.
